How to Check for Assignments on the DB Schools Website

Dear Parents,

I wanted to clarify the difference between our JMC Parent Portal and our Dawson-Boyd website for lesson plans/assignments.

The JMC Parent Portal is for teachers to record grades. Parents have access to their child's grades, attendance, and lunch accounts on the JMC Parent Portal.

If your child is absent from school, you should access the Dawson-Boyd website to see teacher lesson plans and assignments. Here are the steps to access teacher lesson plans/assignments:

Go to www.dawsonboydschools.org.
Click on the "DBHS" button located on the top of the page.
Click on "Jr/Sr High Staff.
Click on the subject area that you want.
Click on the staff member in that department.
When the staff members web page comes up, click on the "Classes" button on the left side of the webpage.
You will see a list of classes that are taught by that teacher. Click on the assignment button to see the concept being taught as well as if there are any assignments for the week.
