7th Grade Orientation - New Student Registration
7th Grade Orientation will be held at Dawson-Boyd High School on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 1:00pm in Memorial Auditorium. All students and parents are encouraged to attend. Students will meet with Keri Bergeson, high school principal, and Rebecca Mortenson, high school counselor. Students will receive class schedules and learn about the expectations for high school. They will also be assigned to a locker, take a tour of the high school, meet their teachers and have the opportunity to ask questions.
New Student Registration
All high school students that are new to the Dawson-Boyd School District are asked to attend the New Student Registration at Dawson-Boyd High School on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 1:00 in Memorial Auditorium. Students are asked to bring report cards and records including immunization records and the address/phone number of previous schools with you.

Minnesota Health Care Programs
If your child is enrolled in Minnesota Health Care Programs Insurance (i.e. Medical Assistance, Minnesota Care, Blue Plus or UCare) they are eligible for a complete health checkup. The Child and Teen Checkup program is a great way to get the complete head-to-toe exam. Child and Teen checkups include: Hearing, Vision, Physical exam, Immunizations and Lab tests. This also gives the child/parent time to visit with their own doctor about any concerns they may have. YOU MUST CALL THE CLINIC AND ASK TO SCHEDULE A CHILD & TEEN CHECKUP FOR YOUR EXAM, AS IT IS NOT TYPICALLY AVAILABLE THROUGH SPECIAL ATHLETIC PHYSICAL EXAM DAYS.
